MINI-SQUAD
The Mini-Squad is the first progression in the Playford Aquatic Club program and aims to assist athletes with the transition from Learn to Swim Lessons to a competitive squad environment.
Participants will learn how to function in a squad environment as they develop the foundations of competitive technique and skill across all four strokes. Introduction to competition is done in a fun, encouraging and educating way through our monthly Time Trial program.
Age: Primarily between 7-12 years of age
Sessions: Athletes are encouraged to attend at least 2 sessions per week.

COMMUNICATION
Two of the most important aspects of being involved in the Playford Aquatic Club is good communication between the coach, swimmer and parents and the effective distribution of information to families by the coach and the club.
Seasonal meetings will be held for each squad where the coach will provide information to parents and swimmers including competition schedules.
If a swimmer or parent has any questions or concerns, they are asked to speak to their coach.
The Club uses a number of communication methods to keep members up to date;
Email – Emails are our main form of communication with our Members. Please ensure the Club has an up to date email address to contact you. If you need to update your email address please contact the CLUB SECRETARY.
Notice Board – Relevant information regarding upcoming meets can be found on the Club Notice Board.
