NATIONAL PERFORMANCE SQUAD
The National Performance Squad assists athletes to perform at National Age/Open & OW Championship meets. Athletes are primarily 14 & Over and attend 7+ sessions per week with participants developing all aspects of stroke technique, fitness levels and race skills to prepare for competition.
Entry into the squad is by invite from the Head Coach. Athletes must demonstrate high levels of commitment and performance to maintain their place within the squad.
Age: Primarily between 14 & Over
Sessions: Athletes are encouraged to attend at least 7 sessions per week.

SQUAD FEES
The training fee for National Performance Squad $175.00 per Month
In a case where an athlete may have a serious injury or illnesses, and misses four or more weeks of training please contact the CLUB TREASURE to organise temporally freezing your training fees.
COMPETITIONS
National Performance Squad competes in Targeted Meets, State Championships & National Age/Open Water Championships.
COMMUNICATION
Two of the most important aspects of being involved in the Playford Aquatic Club is good communication between the coach, swimmer and parents and the effective distribution of information to families by the coach and the club.
Seasonal meetings will be held for each squad where the coach will provide information to parents and swimmers including competition schedules.
If a swimmer or parent has any questions or concerns, they are asked to speak to their coach.
The Club uses a number of communication methods to keep members up to date;
Email – Emails are our main form of communication with our Members. Please ensure the Club has an up to date email address to contact you. If you need to update your email address please contact the CLUB SECERTARY.
